Our Story
From A Time started from a simple observation: that most of the things we feel most deeply, we feel in silence and that there is something profound about a physical letter that arrives and says I already know.

Each envelope is made by a small team of writers, photographers, and designers. Nothing is generated. Every word is chosen. The envelope is a slow object, built for a drawer, a shelf, a bedside table.
The themes are rooms most people live in but rarely name out loud. You might be 24 or 54. Grieving or content. Looking for something or resting from the looking.

You subscribe and receive one envelope per month. Each envelope contains five pieces of original work: a letter, a quote card, a photograph, a prompt card, and a story or poem. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel at any time by emailing contact@fromatime.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.
What is the difference between monthly and annual?+
Monthly is $12 per month, cancel anytime. Annual is $120 for the full year, the equivalent of two months free. Annual subscribers also receive priority access to future releases.
Delivery
When does the envelope ship?+
Envelopes ship on the same date each month. You will receive a confirmation email once it is on its way.
Do you ship internationally?+
Yes. From A Time ships worldwide. Orders may be subject to customs fees or import duties, which are the responsibility of the recipient.
What if my envelope arrives damaged or does not arrive?+
Please email contact@fromatime.com with your order details. We will investigate and, where possible, send a replacement.
Gifting
Can I send a subscription as a gift?+
Yes. Gift subscriptions are available for 1, 3, 6, or 12 months. You can include a note, or let the envelope speak on its own.
Do gift subscriptions auto-renew?+
No. Gift subscriptions are prepaid and do not auto-renew. When the gift period ends, the recipient may continue if they choose.
The Content
What is the theme each month?+
We do not announce themes in advance. Part of what makes receiving the envelope meaningful is not knowing what is coming, only that it will be something true.
Is the content written by AI?+
Everything is original, human-made work. Nothing is generated. Every word is chosen, every image is shot.
Can I share what arrives in my envelope?+
You are welcome to share your experience. We only ask that you do not reproduce the full letter or story text publicly. The work was made to be a private experience first.

We share your shipping address with our fulfilment and postal partners solely for delivery purposes. We do not share your data with any third parties for their own marketing.

The subscription
From A Time is a monthly subscription service. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel at any time by emailing contact@fromatime.com.
Pricing and billing
Subscription pricing is displayed at checkout and is subject to change. We will notify existing subscribers of any price changes before they take effect.
Delivery
We will make every reasonable effort to ensure your envelope is delivered on time and in good condition. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, or events beyond our control.
Refunds
We generally do not offer refunds for envelopes that have already shipped. If you cancel before a shipping cycle closes, you will not be charged for that month. If you experience a problem with your order, please contact us at contact@fromatime.com and we will assess it individually.
Intellectual property
All content in the From A Time envelope is original work and remains the intellectual property of From A Time and its contributors. You may not reproduce, publish, or distribute it without permission.
Limitation of liability
From A Time is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.
